Who We're Looking For

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in digital media, communications, or marketing and returning to full-time or part-time studies in Fall 2023

• Proven work experience in social media

• Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), grammar, presentation, and communication skills

• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge

• Understanding of YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok

• General knowledge of copywriting, content writing, and SEO

• Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels

• Positive attitude, detail and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability

Responsibilities:

As a Marketing Assistant you will:

• Create and execute social media strategy through research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification

• Generate, edit, publish and share content (original text, images, video, or graphics) that builds meaningful connections and encourages audiences to take action

• Manage company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company’s social content

• Continuously improve metrics by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information

• Collaborate with Lift Accelerator and Portfolio companies to help develop social media and digital marketing strategies

Contract length: 4 months

Salary: $16 per hour (35 hours per week)
