Marketing Manager Job at Friends of Dorothy
We are activly looking for a team member to head our restaurants marketing and sales department, FOD is seeking candidates actively engaged with the queer communitty, well versed in social media, and eager to build an engaging, interactive and fun presence not only online but in our real world community. Friends of Dorothy Lounge in Victoria and Kelowna is a fast paced, high energy Lounge with regular events, These events range from Karaoke, interactive games night, and Drag Shows. While also showcasing unique feature cocktails and a range of menu items from snacks and shareplates to full dinner service!
This positon could require traveling between our Kelowna and Victoria location.
Responsibilities of a marketing manager are:
1. Build brand awarness, for promotion to the queer community and allies within Victoria and Kelowna.
2. Respond in a timely and professional manner to reviews both positive and negative on our Google Accounts page as well as Open Table.
2. Create FOD merchandise and inventory of product for branding and creating brand value provincially by arranging outreach events, or participating in local outreach events to target new customers.
3. Assist FOD in increasing sales by promoting food and drink products, liase with suppliers to run promotions, advertise within local community, and create engagment on all social media platforms.
4.Conduct market research, and remain up to date on trends to identify the core and potential customer base.
5. Work closely with FOD Management team and owners to create and promote events, meet with local business owners and stakeholders to increase brand awareness.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
