Description:

This individual will be supporting supply management in terms of inventory management and material flow. They are monitoring the material of flow of parts internally in the organization. There are performance standards for each subject/sandbox (Planning inspection, Material in hand of suppliers, planning parameters in SAP, etc...) where the Logistic lead can support.

• The logistics Lead is responsible for becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) within a particular value stream/commodity. They will be supporting the buyers very closely.
• They will be looking at the procurement and planning activities from a high-level and trying to find efficiencies within the supply chain by implementing continuous improvement concepts.
• They are subject matter expert’s on logistics procedures regarding the flow of materials within the organization.
• There is a portion that is problem-solving and a portion of the role which involves continuous improvement so that there are less problems that occur in the first place.
• The goal is that the organization is being more pro-active with regard to problem-solving. The split of tasks will depend on the value stream but generally it is 50/50 between both activities.
• These Logistics Leads will be receiving requests (75-100 requests per day) from various stakeholders by email, chat and call.
• They will also be responsible for preparing proposals which are presented to directors based on certain operational bottlenecks they are experiencing.

Must Haves:

• 3- 5 years in a logistics, manufacturing or supply chain environment
• Experience with material planning or inventory management.
• SAP Experience, Specifically MM Module
• Bilingualism (English-First is fine).
• Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP).
