Mechanical Assembler

Looking for people that have a minimum of 1 year assembly experience and are serious about the prospect of being hired on, instead of looking for a temporary fill while waiting for school or other work to begin. Must be able bodied, good attendance, able to work well with others as well as on their own and have a great attention to detail.

Responsibilities for Mechanical Assembler:

  • Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
  • Follow, create and help maintain Assembly Procedure Specifications.
  • Collecting all material and equipment needed to begin the process.
  • Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators.
  • Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
  • Assemble items as instructed by floor supervisor.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities.
  • Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task.
  • Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
  • Prepare product for shipment.
  • Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment
  • May be required to work an alternate shift.

Requirements for Mechanical Assembler:

  • Must have 1 years of production assembly experience.
  • Experience with handheld tools such as handheld wrenches, sockets, and drill guns.
  • Able to read, interpret, and follow basic diagrams

Shift Time for Mechanical Assembler:

  • ALL SHIFTS Days, afternoons & nights

Pay Rate for Mechanical Assembler:

  • $18.50/HR + (Plus Shift Premiums for Aft/Nights)
