The Medical Report Editor’s role is to coordinate receipt and preparation of final reports related to multi-disciplinary assessments. You must posses the skills necessary to review all submitted report to ensure they meet our quality assurance requirements and comply with any customer service level agreements. You work directly with the clinical team, provide feedback and maintain ongoing report deadlines.

We are looking for someone who is dynamic in their thinking, setting the pace and standard that is in line with our known brand for quality. Our clinic requires someone who enjoys and manages multitasking, and the ownership for the responsibility for timelines.

Multiple assessment are worked on all at once, so a sharp administrative mindset, and knowledge of the medical terminology and MS word processing is critical. Where a process is inefficient or ineffective, you are able to identify the issue and provide a reasonable solution including implementation. Report deadlines are our driving force so the ability to manage the workflow and report on their status regularly is vital.

Production responsibilities:

· Manage report deadlines for all types of medical evaluators (teams of >100)

· Review all incoming reports and set up using structured reports specific to product/service.

· Provide feedback to medical evaluators on reports, errors and omissions.

· Assist with report templates, document submission and timelines.

· Proofreading all reports (spelling, syntax, typography).

· Checking text for consistency and recommending changes where necessary.

· Maintain branding of finished product

· Meeting required turnarounds for product receipt, service completion and distribution

Requirements

  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to engage in multiple tasks while managing your time efficiently.
  • Fully conversant in Word, Outlook and other Microsoft programs. Training provided related to custom patient and industry billing systems. Familiarity of HCAI and QBO an asset.
  • Healthcare experience or experience in a similar position or in a related field.
  • Candidates must work in the Clinic (Victoria Park & 401) – M-F.
  • Ability to work in a team medical clinic environment

Other duties:

As a medium size medical facility, we tailor each person’s job description to draw on their strengths. Duties and responsibilities shift as our team develops skills and experience and show interest in specific tasks. Depending on the strengths they may also provide additional support to the other clinic jobs.

Compensation:

Full-time in office position, Monday-Friday, 7.5 hour work day

Start date: position available immediately .

Salary based on experience (~$24-26/Hour). Benefits package available (extended health and dental).
