Engineers within Engineering Services at Hydro One Networks Inc. are engaged in a variety of challenging and exciting roles and responsibilities such as: power systems studies and planning, design and construct new transmission and distribution substations and lines, protection, control & metering system design in power system related to refurbishment and new power system installations, oversee installation and testing of new systems, or assist with the operation of the power grid.

Positions are in downtown Toronto, Barrie, Pickering, Ottawa, London, Tiverton, and Sudbury offices.

Candidates selected for this position will be included in Hydro One's New Grad training and development program. Over the course of this two-year program, candidates will have the opportunity to rotate through several roles allowing them to gain experience working on different projects and in different environments. A combination of training and mentoring will be provided.

Qualifications and Experience

• Graduate from an accredited university with degree in Bachelor of Engineering (Multiple Disciplines).
• Eligible to be a licensed & practicing Professional Engineer within the Province of Ontario (PEO).
• Valid driver’s license in Ontario.
• Good understanding and knowledge/experience in using software applications:
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications, Auto CAD experience will be an asset.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and implement solutions.

• Familiar with general engineering project life cycles and processes.
