We are looking for an Occupational Therapist that can bring their cohesive approach in therapy services to our client’s homes. Our Occupational Therapists enjoy a self-motivated atmosphere that keeps them independent and adaptable. If you are looking for an environment where you get to use a variety of your therapy skills to improve the well-being of your clients in the community and help them get back to their baseline mobility and functions, then this role will be right for you!

If you are a new Occupational Therapist graduate, our team provides intensive learning and development opportunities to upskill you on community-based work.

We have Full Time and Part Time opportunities where the OT can pick a shift and schedule that works for them and will be assigned to a pre-assigned geographic area around the towns of north and west Lindsay, Ontario. These include the following locations – Peterborough, Bobcaygeon, Little Britain, Cameron, Woodville, Norland, Coboconk, Kirkfield,Seabright, Fenelon Falls, Seagrave, Haliburton West and Haliburton, Minden Hills

What you will be doing:
  • Change your client’s lives in the comfort of their home as you help them become independent with daily living tasks. You also make it safe and easy for the clients to manage their day-to-day activities.
  • Collaborate with an inter healthcare team that partners with our client’s family members and caregivers to build an inter-discipline, holistic treatment goals and service plans
  • Because we use a hybrid model of care, including face to face and virtual, you can build a schedule that works for you and your client. We value an independent and flexible OT while providing a dedicated support and training system for them.

Skills needed for success:
  • Graduate of a recognized Post Secondary program in Occupational Therapy
  • Current active registration and is in good standing as an Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapist of Ontario
  • Excellent customer service, time management skills and professionalism
  • Must have a Valid Driver’s License and the use of a reliable vehicle
