Our company is looking for an experienced Office Administrator to oversee human resources functions, manage insurance payors, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, analyze freight costs, implement programs to improve employee health, morale, and productivity, and liaise with other departments to provide support and guidance. The successful candidate will have a strong background in office administration, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.

New office opened May 1st, 2023: #65, 1833 Coast Meridian Rd. Port Coquitlam

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee human resources functions:

  • Develop and maintain employee handbooks
  • Manage payroll management
  • Administer employee health benefits
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations

Manage contracting for insurance payors:

  • Work with various insurance payors, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payors in the United States.
  • Ensure that the company is adequately covered against liabilities
  • Monitor and manage claims processing
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the insurance industry

Provide assistance related to regulatory and corporate obligations:

  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Monitor and manage regulatory filings
  • Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations

Assist with the analysis of freight costs:

  • Analyze shipping data to identify trends and patterns
  • Develop strategies to optimize shipping costs
  • Work with vendors to negotiate favorable pricing and service levels

Implement programs to improve employee health, morale, and productivity:

  • Develop and manage wellness programs
  • Promote employee engagement and satisfaction
  • Monitor employee feedback and implement improvements as needed

Liaise with other departments to provide support and guidance:

  • Collaborate with other departments to support their needs
  • Provide guidance and assistance as needed
  • Develop cross-functional relationships to promote teamwork and collaboration
