Owner Operator Driver Job at GFL Environmental Inc.
GFL Environmental is looking for AZ/DZ licensed drivers for our location based out of Ottawa.
We are an integrated environmental services company providing industrial, commercial, utilities, institutional, residential, and municipal customers with leading-edge solutions to a variety of environmental and waste-handling problems.
On safety standards, we are industry leaders with the experience to offer cost-effective, highly professional service.
Successful candidates will drive & operate a variety of our industrial trucks/units, such as:
Strong focus on health and safety.
Willingness to work in a ‘Team’ environment with a focus on customer service.
Possess a valid “AZ” or “DZ” driver’s license with a clean Driver’s and CVOR abstract.
Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience.
Ability to drive manual transmission units (8, 10, 13 speed).
Accept change and be adaptable to different work environments.
Ability to work an irregular work schedule (extended hours and variable shifts).
Ability to work in a confined space environment and/or at heights.
Being part of an On-call rotation (every 3 weeks).
An Asset:
First Aid, Fall Protection/Working at Heights, and Confined Space training.
Mechanical knowledge.

- Hydro excavation units.
- Box trucks
- Roll-off bin units
- High-pressure water blasters.
- Tractor trailers (AZ drivers)
