Overall Responsibility:
The purpose of the packer position is to ensure product is packed in accordance to customer’s packaging specification as this represents the reliability of the company’s services. Maintaining a clean and organized work station and supporting other functions as required by the Team Leader/Supervisor is a must.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure to coordinate with Packing Team Leader for the shift packing requirement/plan.
- Ensure to check all packaging materials readiness.
- Take the products (after passing through the metal detector) and put the product inside the prepared (folded boxes)
- When the carton/box is filled-up to the required quantity, fold the top cover and push the filled carton onto the tape/sealing machine.
- Take the sealed carton/box oand place onto the designated pallet and attached shipping label (if required).
Qualifications:
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work overtime as required
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.65-$19.00 per hour
