Residential Aide Placement Service (RAPS) North Edmonton, AB
RAPS is Seeking a Part Time Caregiver to Assist a Blind, Deaf and Paraplegic individual (E5)
Location: North Edmonton (Londonderry Mall)
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: Shift 1: 9am-12pm
Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to mechanical transfers using a ceiling track lift, range of motion exercises, personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.), catheter care, life skills training, light housekeeping, meal preparation, support on outings (transportation through DATS), communicating through tactile sign language, supervision, and companionship
Qualifications and Other Requirements: Must have a recent criminal record check including a vulnerable sector check, a minimum of 6 months experience in the healthcare field, and be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Candidates must also be willing to learn tactile sign language (training will be provided).
Rate of Pay: $17.00/ Hour
