Raps is Seeking a Part-Time Support Worker to Assist an Individual with Spastic Cerebral Palsy (S28)
Location: North Edmonton
Days: Flexible (to be discussed with employer)
Hours: 8-15 hours per week (weekend availability)
Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to mechanical transfers (Hoyer Lift), assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing), plan community outings together, explore/modify fun activities, supervision, and companionship.
Qualifications and Other Requirements: Must have a recent criminal record check including the vulnerable sector, HCA Certificate and/or previous health care experience, have a valid CPR/First Aide Certificate, and possess a driver’s license. Must demonstrate good communications skills, be familiar with lifts and wheelchairs, and have an outgoing personality. Ideal candidate will be motivated to make a difference in the life of people with disabilities.
Rate of Pay: $18.00-$20.00/hour (based on skills and experience)
