Our client, a leader in trailer leasing, rental, maintenance, and repair, as well as other value-added services, is seeking Parts Technicians for their Lachine location.

Shifts

  • Days: Mon - Fri, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Description

  • Create and maintain purchase orders and part orders for the service center
  • Oversee the shipping and receiving of Parts, including inventory tracking and stocking
  • Maintain an organized, clean and efficient working environment
  • Pick-up & deliver parts or tools as required.
  • Assist with Warranty items and handle customer inquiries.
  • Get quotes from our suppliers, ordering of parts and assisting the service department for the parts needed for their quotes which includes processing incoming parts orders from service technicians; processing inbound and outbound parts
  • Assist with the overall building and property maintenance and with various shop & equipment Safety Inspections.
  • Handle inventory control to include cycle counts of stock and assist with inventory cycle count processing and reporting.
  • Follow procedures and company policies to maintain highest level of safety, quality and cost-effectiveness

Skills

  • Able to communicate in Canadian French and English.
  • Strong customer service orientation, good communication skills, both verbal and written, solid organizational capabilities and ability to complete tasks.
  • Strong computer skills - with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in, and contribute to, a team environment.

Experience and Education:

  • Experience with shipping/receiving and inventory management.
  • Valid Driver’s license and Forklift experience with valid license.
  • Trailer/transportation industry experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently, up to 100 lbs occasionally
