We are currently seeking a Patient Care Coordintor to join our team in Oakville, ON location. This dynamic role will allow you actively contribute to the improvement of peoples’ health and wellness, while earning a competitive salary and participating in our benefits package.

Responsibilities:

· Call patients to assess their needs, ensuring their equipment is working properly and replaced within the approved manufacturer’s guidelines.

· Answer patient calls, emails, and questions, including insurance submissions.

· Discuss cost of service, insurance coverage, and payment options with the patient.

· Liaise with insurance companies on behalf of and/or in conjunction with patients to determine insurance entitlements.

· Confidentially manage patient accounts.

· Keep current on various products and services from our vendors.

· Perform data entry tasks and maintaining patient database to ensure timely follow up.

· Confidentially manage patient accounts.

· Schedule patient visits and answer pre-visit questions, including about billing.

· Scan/file documents into patient charts

· Schedule patient appointments and procedures according to established protocol.

· Greets patients and screens them for appropriate information.

· Maintain/review patient records, charts, and other pertinent information.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

· Evening and weekend hours maybe required.

Qualifications:

· Post-secondary education preferred

· Minimum one year of relevant experience (Medical office diploma or experience preferred)

· Retail or customer service experience is as asset

· Exceptional client service skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

· Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

· Ability to work as part of a team under minimal supervision
