To fulfill Pattison Agricultures’ vision of GROWING, CONNECTING AND EVOLVING we are looking for a PDI Service Team Lead to join our fast-paced, energetic dealership in Yorkton, SK. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize state of the art ag technology and be part of the future of agriculture. You will manage the Predelivery workflow through the Service Department from the initial sales request, through predelivery completion, and invoicing.

Responsibilities

This individual’s responsibilities include:
  • Generate quotes for predelivery requests
  • Manage entire work order process, review for accuracy before invoicing
  • Work with Service Writer to ensure accurate records are kept
  • Schedule PDI techs and assign jobs according to skill level
  • Work with Sales dept for machine booking
  • Directs and assist PDI techs and apprentices in diagnosis/troubleshooting
  • Provides excellent Customer Service, responds to Sales service inquiries
  • Work with Service Mgr to find solutions for PDI and warranty repairs, handle internal/external complaints, coordinate tech training, safety meetings
  • Perform final checks and quality control of predelivery work
Requirements

This would be an ideal position if you have:
  • 5+ years of experience in Service Department Operations
  • Ag Equipment Technician (JDTECH) Journeyperson Certification, or equivalent
  • Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment
  • Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups
  • Ability to analyze and interpret internal and external reports
  • Ability to use current business systems; working knowledge of computer functions and use
  • Outstanding Customer Service, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Deere systems would be considered an asset (JDLink, Service Advisor, Expert Alerts, SVAP, Service Delivery)
