Personal Care Worker / Healthcare Aide Job at Amanda K's Home
Wheelchair user seeking casual Personal Care Attendant.
2 to 3 hour shifts available - start times between 7:30am to 8:30am
Duties include all activities of daily living:
- Dressing and undressing
- Transferring and positioning
- Bathing and hygiene
- Mobility assistance and range of motion exercises
- Meal preparation
- Housekeeping and laundry
Job requirements:
- Ability to travel to Park City Commons (Transcona area)
- Able to speak and understand English
Preferred experience:
- No experience is required, Health Care Aide/Home Care Attendant certificate or equivalent combination of training and experience considered an asset
- Experience working with wheelchair users considered an asset, but not required
- Valid drivers license and vehicle considered an asset, but not required
