24 hours bi-weekly - Oromocto area
· $16.70 per hour + paid kilometers
· Position to start as soon as possible.
· Hours of work: 24 biweekly
Week 1 would be Friday 11:30am-7:30pm
Week 2 would be Saturday and Sunday 11:30am to 7:30pm
This schedule would continue on rotating basis
· Description:
Assist female children with associated disabilities with access for appropriate needs such as supervision, playing with toys, preparing meals, feeding, changing, community, outings, socialization, etc. The proper candidate must be able to take initiative and have good judgement and be client focused. Being an Intervenor requires a degree of creativity to assist the Consumer in completing activities of daily life and maneuvering the outside environment. Communication skills are vital, as well as problem solving.
The following are required for hiring:
· Completion of high school + additional experience in PSW or child care is ideal
· Criminal record check cleared for vulnerable sector, Child Abuse Registry check
· Vehicle with valid Drivers License
· First Aid and CPR certificates
· Writing and document use
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week
Salary: From $16.70 per hour
