A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a pharmacist to join the team at a popular Canadian retail pharmacy chain located in Saskatchewan.
Our client is looking for a few sets of dates to be covered! The dates needed are:

Time-9-5 to 9-7

July 7-16th

July 15 - 30th

August 9-13th Need External Relief to help Coverage short staffed.

August 12-27th- Need external Relief to help cover holidays.

This location will be looking for a Staff Pharmacist to come out twice a week to cover days off starting June 13 and on until we can find a Permanent.


The successful candidate should have experience working with the Kroll. Pharmacy assistant support will be given. Experience dispensing methadone is not required. While being injection certified is desirable, it is not a mandatory requirement.

Roles and Responsibility
Dispensing medications to patients as prescribed by a physician or other authorized healthcare practitioner. They are also responsible for ensuring that the medication is safe and effective for the patient and providing counselling on how to use the medication correctly.
Pharmacists are responsible for managing medication therapy for patients, including reviewing medication profiles, identifying drug interactions or contraindications, and adjusting medication doses as needed to ensure patient safety and efficacy
Pharmacists provide patients with advice on the appropriate use of medication, including dosage, administration, side effects, and any potential interactions with other medications, foods, or supplements.
Pharmacists are responsible for verifying the accuracy of prescriptions and ensuring that they are legal and valid.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy
  • Injection Certification is an asset, but is not required
  • Experience with pharmacy computer systems, specifically Kroll.
  • A minimum of one-year experience in a busy pharmacy setting is considered a strong asset
  • High level of interpersonal and problem-solving skills
