Pharmacy Clerk Job at Costco Wholesale
Costco Pharmacy is looking to hire a Certified Pharmacy Clerk for our location in Surrey, BC. This is a regular part time position - minimum 25 hours per week over 5 days.
Daily tasks and responsibilities:
- Provide prompt and courteous patient service
- Take in member prescriptions gathering all necessary information
- Enter prescriptions accurately and timely with minimum supervision
- Package, label, and stock medications
- Compound mixtures and suspensions
- Answer the phone and be able to troubleshoot problems
- Communicate with members, co-workers, health care professionals and suppliers
- Retrieve filled prescriptions and process register transactions
Qualifications:
- Completion of a certified Pharmacy Technician program from an accredited institution is required
- Applicants with pharmacy experience will be given preference over other candidates
- Strong communication skills required
- Knowledge of Kroll software (or other computer/data entry skills) is an asset
