We are hiring a Plant Operations Manager, (Lean manufacturing) Barrie, ON Salary: $100K - $120K

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Implement manufacturing policies and programs to maintain and improve the plant's competitive position and profitability
• Position, direct, and coordinate activities to ensure approved products are manufactured on schedule and within quality standards and cost objectives
• Devise methods, policies, and procedures to ensure manufacturing objectives are attained
• Develop short- and long-range plans and programs to meet manufacturing objectives
• Direct the manufacture of products at the lowest cost consistent with established specifications as to quality and quantity
• Formulate and install standard manufacturing practices based on comparative studies of methods, costs, and production figures
• Establish, approve, and monitor manufacturing and related subordinate departmental budgets
• Stay up-to-date on equipment changes, additions, and modifications
• Ensure compliance with all applicable OHSA, ESA, and other provincial regulatory laws, as well as company safety policies

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• LEAN Manufacturing Designation (Blackbelt preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years operational experience in a relevant industry
• Tooling Knowledge
• Fabrication Knowledge
• Must have a valid passport or travel credentials
