LEGAL ASSISTANT

What you will do:
- Assist our pre litigation team with personal injury files including:
- Assist clients with setting up insurance treatment benefits
- Obtain regular updates from clients regarding recovery
- Organizing and assembling application packages
- Filing, faxing, scanning, and copying
- Assisting with routine correspondence (prepare and type correspondence, pleadings, etc.)
- Arranging for court filing of documents
- Following up with medical clinics, insurance companies on files status
- Inputting reminders, updates, and saving correspondence within our file management software
- Handling clients’ relations and provide exceptional customer service experience to all clients
- Performing other administrative tasks as required
- Exceptional customer service experience
- Diploma from an accredited legal assistant program is preferred although not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of team
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy is crucial for this role
