Description:

Core responsibilities include the overview and maintenance of a contract:

o Reviewing escalation formula’s, ensuring they are all approved

o Performing catalogue reviews on a yearly basis

o Re-negotiating unprofitable contract terms (contract cleanup)

o Enforcing non-compliance clauses

Mandate & Overview:

• They are the relationship owner with the supply chain and suppliers
• They are cost-savers and must achieve cost-savings on a yearly basis
• Engaging and interfacing with various stakeholders
• They are responsible for managing a portfolio of clients (usually grouped by commodity). However, there are over 300 contracts managed between 10 people.
• They are using various tools daily such as SAP, PowerBI and Excel.

o SAP is used to manage all contracts and streamline purchasing (Electronic version of the contract is in SAP, so they are extracting data).

o PowerBI would be to manage the KPI’s and monitor the health of a contract

o Using basic excel (basic functions, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)

• Closest stakeholders would be the logistics team as well as Engineering teams.

o They would work with the logistics team regarding any issues on the purchasing front.

Must haves:

- 5 - 7+ years of experience in contract management, contract negotiation and procurement (Direct or Indirect)

• Bachelor’s in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Etc…
• Strong English communication skills (10/10 written & spoken)
• Experience working with Office Suit (Intermediate proficiency)

Assets:

• Experience with SAP
• Bilingual (French & English)
• Aerospace experience
