About us
Fingerprint is a Vancouver-based electric vehicle start-up, founded by an experienced car designer and automotive engineer.
Our mission is to help society transition to zero-emission personal transport a decade sooner than is current forecast, through radical innovations in product and manufacturing technology.
We have invented a next-generation lightweight electric vehicle based on new manufacturing techniques that support local manufacturing in highly automated factories, cutting emissions, resources used, and lasting longer.
In our next phase we will be designing and building a fleet of prototypes for user test trials.
What we need
We have multiple product design roles to fill over the coming months for Mechanical, Electrical, and Software Engineers, who are flexible, curious and comfortable working across disciplines.
- Inventive, problem solving mindset is essential.
- Passion for clean-tech and transport electrification.
- Automotive OEM or supply chain experience is ideal, with experience of TS16949, ISO26262 and AUTOSAR.
- Expert user of computed aid design tools (e.g. Fusion 360, SolidWorks, CATIA, Altium, Eagle).
- Practical experience in firmware and/or UI/UX coding (e.g. C/C++, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Java).
- Familiarity with modelling and simulation tools (e.g. Matlab/Simulink, Abaqus, Ansys).
- Strong understanding of EV drive systems, including traction control, regenerative braking, power electronics, and energy management.

Salary: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
