Quik's Farm Ltd. is a wholesale cut flower grower based in Chilliwack, BC, with over 20 acres of indoor and 20 acres of seasonal outdoor growing space.

Quik’s Farm is geared towards the intense production of cut Chrysanthemums, Oriental Lilies, Alstroemeria, and other seasonal crops utilizing state-of-the-art growing systems and leading-edge technology to produce high quality products for our diverse customer base throughout Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest USA.

Currently there is a full-time opening for a Production Administration. This position presents a substantial career opportunity within the Quik’s Farm team. This position reports to the Bouquet Production Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Printing of shipping labels, ensuring all case labels match up with outbound orders
  • Printing of all UPCS for each customer account
  • Oversee the stickering process
  • Assist in monthly inventory counts, relay to purchasing department once minimum inventory levels are triggered
  • Create paperwork for pick up and auction orders
  • Assist in employee tracking and ensure safety practices
  • Provide assistance with production of presentations, documents, reports, and general correspondence where required
  • Assist in providing operations and control of the quality assurance processes
  • Documenting daily/weekly recordings of quality and processes
  • Data entry as needed
  • Assist with special projects as needed

Qualifications & requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly productive environment
  • High energy and people oriented
  • Willing to adjust to flexible working hours and increased seasonal pressures
  • Ability to work well as a team member
  • Possess strong organizational skills to handle the quick turn over of large volumes of products
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work with proprietary software
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous experience in related production environment an asset

  • Education: Completion of Grade 12. Post secondary business admin certificate or degree will be considered an asset. Experience in a cut floral company or further understanding of the floral business will be strongly considered a key asset.
  • Work Experience: Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in an office environment and in a field related to Sales, Customer Service, Administration, or Reception. Experience in horticulture/agriculture will be considered an asset.
  • Language: Must be fluent in English language.

This position may require you to work on Saturdays and statutory holidays. There will be no Sunday work.
