Precision Record Pressing Inc. is an exciting company located in Burlington Ontario, that is currently looking for Production Associates to join our Burlington team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that will work with the Quality Assurance department to examine products and materials to ensure that customer specifications and company standards are met. We are looking for a positive, energetic person who is highly motivated and wants to work in a team environment!

Note: This position is not suitable for candidates with an Engineering background.


This position operates on a weekly rotation of days (7am to 3pm) and afternoons (3pm to 11pm) and is eligible for shift premium

Candidates must reside in Canada and be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Assist to monitor process performance by collecting relevant information and preparing statistical reports
  • Assist in developing a system for documentation control/retention
  • Help to ensure outgoing finished products meet customer specifications
  • Help to effectively manage customer complaints and non-conformance issues, in conjunction with the Customer Service Team
  • Help develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
  • Help perform internal quality audits
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Supervisor, or as the situation dictates


Physical Demands

  • Required to stand for long periods of time
  • Involves repetitive motions
  • Must be able to lift up-to 50lbs occasionally
  • Engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of parts and part containers
  • Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather conditions
  • Adaptable to relative sound pressure levels


Requirements/Qualifications

  • 1 year of quality inspection, auditing and testing experience preferred
  • Use of proper PPE while performing functions, CSA steel toed safety shoes are mandatory
  • Must be willing to work all shifts & to work overtime as business needs require
  • Must be able to meet physical demands of the job
  • Excellent electronic, verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to execute good judgement and decision making for the purposes of process improvement and problem solving
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities in a team environment
