Location: Stayner, ON

Shift: Monday to Friday (Morning shift)

Pay rate: $25/hour.

Arrow Workforce Solutions is currently hiring a Quality Assurance Specialist for one of our distribution centre in Stayner, Ontario. The right candidate will be responsible for directing and coordinating activities concerned with quality, process improvement and Quality Management System.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining compliance with medical cannabis laws and regulations
• Proven experience with statistical analysis software
• Create and implement procedures and processes to support the Quality Management System.
• Ability to solve problems within teams that employ quality principles and tools for evaluation, corrective actions, verification, and effectiveness
• Lead internal and supplier QMS and GMP Audits.
• Develop and control quality plans and inspection processes.
• Develop Internal QC testing and verification using moisture analyzers, precision scales, CO2 meters, HPLC, etc.
• Responsible for continuous improvement of 5S, kaizen lean methods, etc.
• Preparing reports, SOPs, and Work Instructions.
• Performing other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary education in Pharmaceutical, or relevant field.
• ASQ certifications are considered an asset
• Experience in Quality Assurance Management in a similar production environment, proven knowledge, and experience related to the duties of the position.
• Advanced level experience in MS office.
• Problem-Solving, Project Management, and strong communication skills.
• Background in developing and managing KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exposure to pollen, allergens, approved pesticides, chemical vapors, odors and dust.
