Job Description:

We are currently looking for a dependable, self-starter to lead our production team at our Moncton facility. This role involves managing production personnel and manufacturing process according to standard operating procedures in a quality-controlled environment. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule production based on weekly work orders
  • Train workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
  • Compounding powders and mixing liquids
  • Identify, evaluate, control and prevent hazards during the production process
  • Track manufacturing metrics and prepare production reports
  • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Maintain cleanliness in production spaces according to GMP standards
  • Maintain production records on computerized recording-keeping systems
  • Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 years post secondary education in manufacturing, quality, or process
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing or food processing plant
  • Previous experience working in a GMP or regulatory environment
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 23kg (50 lbs)
  • Reliable attendance, great work ethic, and can-do attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to complete tasks accurately under pressure
  • Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring a team
  • Above average math, communication, and computer skills
  • Competency in English (understanding, written, and spoken)
  • Previous experience in a batch processing or compounder role preferred
