• Monday to Friday. Steady Day-Shift.
• Shift starts at 6:00 AM with daily varying daily shift finish times - 3pm to 7pm (flexibility is a must).
• 40+ hours per week. (Average of 48 - 52 hours each week)
• Over time paid after 44 hours each week.
• Starting rate of $19.84 per hour plus eligibility for a $1.50/hour weekly attendance bonus.

In our state of the art, automated processing facility you will be:

• Working on processing line for an extended period of time.
• Adhering to company health & safety, food safety, and good manufacturing policies and procedures.
• Working in a cool environment.
• Contribute to a healthy work environment, while maintaining high food safety standards.
• These positions involve working a rotation of various jobs on the processing line.
• Fast paced work environment.
• Comfortable working with raw chicken meat products.
• Dedicated to ensuring that products meet stringent food safety and quality standards.
• Ability to wear all provided personal protective equipment (PPE) and hygiene equipment, including but not limited to face masks, wrist guards, mesh cutting gloves, bump cap/hard hat, steel-toed footwear, hearing protection, smock, and gloves.
• Able to physically perform general labour duties assigned.
• Directly support the department to meet daily targets and goals while maintaining a healthy and safe work environment.
• Maintain productivity that meets or exceeds production standards.
• Dedicated to creating a high-quality product that consistently meets product specifications.
• Contributing and adding value to the team and the facility in a positive way.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Punctual and Dependable individuals
• Previous experience in a meat processing and packaging environment is a definite asset, but not a must.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Ability to physically lift up to 25 lbs.
• Hand and eye dexterity.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to exercise initiative and prioritize work to maximize efficiency.
• Comfortable working in refrigerated facility.
• Comfortable working with raw chicken.
• Must be flexible in shift finish times as each day will vary.
• Must be punctual and reliable.
• Basic security clearance and background check will be performed.
