Project Controller - Etobicoke

We are working with a client with more than 30 years of experience fabricating, servicing and installing stainless steels piping systems. They work with some of the biggest companies in the world in the auto industries, healthcare, pharma, manufacturing and construction

• Salary: $100,000 plus benefits covered by the employer
• Location: Etobicoke, ON M9W 6H6 – main intersection of Steeles Ave. & Highway 27

Project Controller

The Project Controller will be part of the project management team , they will supervise the progress of different ongoing projects, create client invoices and maintain Earned Value Management EVM documents

• Provide status reports during project meetings,
• Follows up with project team member on audit results
• Works with clients, vendors and other stakeholders to maintain and update the project dashboards
• Uses different methodology to track actual vs. planned scheduling, costing and overall project performance, using Earned Value Management EVM, Time-Phased Cost Forecasting
• Identifies project problems , suggests a correction plan

Professional background

• Post-high school education in engineering, project management or project accounting. Or demonstrated list of relevant field experience as a project controller in construction or manufacturing industries
• Software knowledge includes: Procore construction management software, any scheduling software and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge demonstrating project control and cost control procedures
• Report creating and presentation skills , detailed oriented and analytical
• Relevant job titles include project cost controller, project accountant, project coordinator
