We’re one global team – over 50,000 strong – driven by a common purpose to deliver a better world.AECOM Burnaby is hiring a Project Coordinator to provide general project management and operations assistance to the Transportation and Buildings and Places (B+P) business lines.Tasks would include:Handling and coordinating day-to-day tasks for Operations Managers, Program Managers and others on the project management teamAssist Operations Managers with monthly workload and financial projectionsAssist Project Managers with project controls including project tracking, financial analysis and project billingManaging appointments, meetings, and conferencesOrganizing travel arrangementsPreparing presentations, reports, proposals and correspondenceManaging filing systemsLiaising with clientsMaintain efficiency within the office by establishing the best policies, standards, and procedures for their company or departmentAssist in training and onboarding new hiresOrganize project-wide, corporate and internal meetings and eventsActing as a point of contact for phone calls and correspondencePlace monthly orders for food, snacks, and office supplies as required for project meetings, as back-up to the administrator


Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's Degree + 4 years of experience in project administration OR Technical Diploma + 6 years of experience in project administration PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Proficient in the MS suite: MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.Excellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills – multitasking and ability to effectively coordinate tasks. Developed planning skills.Diplomacy – working with multiple senior level employees across multiple organizationsAdaptabilityProficiency and flexibility with different software systemsDiscretion – as this person will be working with highly confidential matters.Ability to understand technical concepts.Engineering or technical education and understanding is idealAdditional Information:Sponsorship is not available for this position.Relocation is not available for this position.AECOM encourages, but does not require, its employees to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. However, this position is on a project or a work site, which requires workers to be vaccinated against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination will be required.
