Scope

  • Reporting to the QEHS (Quality, Environment, Health & Safety) Manager, you would work within the Administration group. Specifically, within the Operations/R&D team.
  • Coordinating the Corrective Action Program as per ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards.
  • Coordinating the Nonconformances (NCR) and Corrective actions that are submitted.
  • Continual improvement of the corrective action system.
  • Mentor, train, assist and support other project leaders.
  • Review completed projects for effectiveness and report on trends.
  • Lead key ISO related projects as required.

What you will do

  • Review submitted corrective action projects and assign resources, priorities, etc. using change control principles that fall within ISO Management Systems.
  • Review submitted project initiations for accuracy and communicating with the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Continuous monitoring of the corrective action/project databases to ensure that project leaders are meeting deadlines.
  • Assist in generating project leader training material and improving the corrective action system as required.
  • Conduct root cause analysis, risk analysis and design action plans.
  • Update Quality, Environment, Health and Safety procedures and documents as determined through action plans.
  • Implement change control principles in the corrective action system.
  • Troubleshoot, design, and improve the corrective action system within the SharePoint software.
  • Assist in other areas of Quality Management such as internal auditing, document control, training, etc.

What you will bring

  • Diploma or Degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Chemical Sciences or Occupational Health & Safety.
  • Experience and/or certification in Project Management.
  • Experience using Microsoft SharePoint including Power Automate, designing flows, troubleshooting, optimization, etc.
  • Experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards is highly recommended.
  • Understanding of American Society for Quality (ASQ) training such as Six Sigma or related certifications.
  • Experience in Occupational Health and Safety is an asset.
  • Good judgment in spotting problems and initiating problem solving procedures.
  • Ability to work under strict time constraints and with a variety of interested parties.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
