Project Coordinator Position Summary A full service Unionized Landscape Company is looking for full time Project Coordinator who reports to the Project Manager and is responsible to support Project Manager in coordinating strategies to see the project through from beginning to end, under the guidance of the Management Team. Responsibilities · Attend client meetings and assist with determination of project requirements · Prepare project organization and communication charts (i.e. working schedules, project submittals, drawings, locates, contacts for field crew, etc.) · Keep Management team and others informed about projects status and issues that may impact client relationships· (i.e. changes to scope of work, coordination with other trades, etc.) · Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team/ field staff · Track and manage completed change orders and extras · Obtain the best possible price for plants and materials to tender price prior to ordering them · Upon completion of a project ensure all require close out documents are obtained · Manage job financial goals & keep track of job costing on a weekly basis · Other duties may be assigned Requirements · 3-5 years of experience supporting Project Managers in the delivery of projects · Knowledge of material pricing and obtain competitive pricing for all landscape materials · Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills · Proven ability to work effectively both independently and a team based environment · Proficient in all computer programs necessary in operation of the company incl. Excel, MS Project, Word, Adobe, Auto CAD preferred. · Able to demonstrate willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities · Strong multi task and organizational skills · Strong basic math and geometry skills and demonstrate the ability to read working drawings. · Extensive experience in landscaping projects is the top priority · Ability to collaborate, get along, build strong relationships both with internal and external clients is essential · Excellent problem solving skills · Ability and willingness to make decisions Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: XXXXXXXXX per year Benefits: • Dental care • Extended health care • Vision care Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Day shift • Monday to Friday Experience: • Landscaping: 2 years (preferred)
