Our Client in the Ontario Public Sector is looking for a Senior QA on a 12 month contract

Demonstrated experience in developing test strategy, test plan, test cases and test data

Demonstrated strong experience in manual and automated testing and scripting

Demonstrated experience with automation testing in web application and date warehouse system

Demonstrated experience in API testing on Azure Cloud by using tools, such as ThunderClient, Swagger, Postman and etc.

Demonstrated experience with testing user authentication and authorization

Demonstrated experience for data migration, data profiling and ETL testing in a multi-dimensional model data warehouse

Demonstrated experience eliciting requirements, and conducting impact analysis

Demonstrated experience using HPQC and TFS to document, track and record testing progress, test plan and test cases;

Demonstrated Experience with VBA and VBS Demonstrated Experience testing star schema dimensional models and Type I and Type II dimensional model in data warehouse system

Demonstrated experience testing for WCAB AA compliance in web applications, preferable experience using screen reader (JAWS , NVDA) for testing and High Compliance Sherriff tool;

Demonstrated experience creating complex SQL scripting for testing;

Demonstrated experience scripting for testing automation (using a tool like Quick Test pro) and performance testing (using a tool like Load Runner); Demonstrated experience with the use of desktop tools such as Visio, MS Office, MS Project, and MS Outlook;

Demonstrated experience in SQL, Databases, and XML in the context of data warehouse testing;

Demonstrated experience in an HP NonStop (Tandem) batch, online, n-tier and web environment.

Demonstrated experience executing testing as part of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including experience testing through all the Software Testing Life Cycle phases;

Demonstrated experience executing different types of software testing processes and testing methodologies

Demonstrated experience writing test scripts, test cases and test scenarios, testing web applications and reporting defects;

Demonstrated experience in investigating production issues for root causes and providing suggestion on solutions

Demonstrated experience with conducting system impact analysis by working with business analysts and developers

Demonstrated experience with migrating on-prem application to Azure Cloud

Demonstrated experience preparing for, conducting and supporting SIT, SAT and UAT testing that adhere to Testing Strategy and Testing Methodology

Responsibilities
Provides advice on the testing strategy, test plans, the selection of testing tools, and the identification of resources required for testing Plans and organizes testing efforts for large systems in Graphical User Interface (GUI) and non-Graphical User Interface (GUI) environments, including the execution of systems integration tests, specialized tests, and user acceptance testing (e.g., stress tests) The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for the development of test plans, test scripts and test cases and executing these against the various components. The tester will work with the testing lead and IT lead of each project as well as the project team members in the analysis, design, development, implementation and ongoing support of the required systems

Qualifications
