Opportunity: We are expanding its Engineering team and its looking to bring in our first Quality Assurance Analyst in-house. The optimal candidate for this role has very high ownership thinking, has a demonstrated track record of being a fast learner, is able to manage a broad array of demanding overlapping timelines and projects, has a strong preference for creative problem solving, an OCD preference for detailed documentation, and someone that prides themselves in delivering high quality work consistently, on schedule.
The purpose of the Quality Assurance Analyst role is three fold:
- To increase our development/product capabilities and capacity
- To enable us to implement ‘industry-first’ features, far ahead of any competitors
- To support product in identifying how we can improve the product while increasing the quality of engineering output
Who are you:
- 2+ years experience in a SAAS environment
- Passion for product excellence and experience working in organizations with strong collaboration between Engineering, Testing, Support, Data, Product, Design, and Business functions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with business unit stakeholders of varying technical ability when required by project objectives
What Will Make You An Ideal Candidate:
- Agile/Scrum experience a plus
- Experience with automated UI tests
- Experience with Integration and API tests that run as part of CI/CD pipelines that ensure a high-quality product is always released to users
- Experiencing working with or establishing automation testing frameworks
