Summary of Position:

The Quality Assurance Software Analyst will be responsible for developing test plans, creating test case scenarios, executing test programs, using regression and UAT testing and working with the development team members in implementing and improving quality standard and processes. The Analyst will be responsible for individual OKRs.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop test plans, create test case scenarios, execute test programs and work with the development team members in implementing and improving quality standard and processes
  • Review functional specifications to develop test plans and testing requirements checklist
  • Perform testing including regression testing and UAT testing
  • Perform manual testing of interactive web applications, focusing on functional end-end testing applications, validate system response and output accurately to reflect business requirements as outlined in requirements document
  • Create test data
  • Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Deliver on individual OKRs

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Spoken English (Fluent), Written English (Professional Level)
  • Ability to get to the root of the problem, address issues and follow up in a timely manner
  • Ability to deliver the positive voice of LMN in all interactions
  • Knowledge of mentoring teammates and colleagues
  • Working knowledge in testing complex business applications and requirements-based testing
  • Ability to develop quality assurance methodologies and techniques
  • Knowledge of SaaS environment and agile development processes
  • Experience with Atlassian products like Jira, zephyr, confluence
  • Basic understanding of programming language like CSS, XML, JavaScript and Angular

Qualifications:

  • Must have a post secondary education
  • 1 year of experience in QA and testing within a software development environment, browser, and mobile based applications
  • Must have appropriate transit to attend office
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Job Type: Full time, Permanent, thirty-six (36) Hours Per Week, 4-day Work Week, $55,000 - $65,000 Annual Base Salary, 5% Bonus, Benefits, 3% Health Care Spending Account, Disability Coverage, Life Insurance, Vacation Accrued, Sick Credits, RRSP matching and more…
