We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the Highbury Canco team as the Quality Assurance Supervisor.

As a supervisor you will use your management skills to oversee the daily tasks of the Quality Warehouse Inspector, by providing clear expectations and suitable targets that align with operational priorities.

You will participate in and lead investigations to identify action plans that will provide long term resolutions to quality/food safety risks and reduce consumer complaints.

This role requires a collaborative effort. As the Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will work cross-functionally to maintain and improve our quality/food safety systems. This will be achieved by conducting internal audits, providing employee training when needed and participation in verification activities within the facility.

Knowledge of HACCP, SQF or Safe Food for Canadians Act will help you to assess risks within the manufacturing processes, however training is available to candidates with less experience and an eagerness to learn.

Qualifications

• 1-3 year experience in quality or related field
• A degree or diploma in food science or a science related field would be an asset but not required.

• Oral and written communication skills
