About The Opportunity:

The RCMP Service Representative is a member of a dynamic team whose focus is on the customer. Acting as the first point of contact at the RCMP detachment, you will provide efficient and professional customer service for all visitors. Further responsibilities include answering the switchboard, entering data, and processing a variety of forms, applications, permits and other documents. Shift work is required.


About Your Background:

Along with high school graduation, you have completed a post-secondary vocational or college business course. You have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a comparable service environment such as banks, airlines, hotels, social service organizations, other municipalities and government agencies. Strong communication and computer skills are required along with a typing speed of 40 wpm. Call Centre training or experience would be considered an asset. As a condition of employment, the incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a clear RCMP Reliability Status.
