Brookdale Treeland Nursery (BTN) is one of the largest and most respected growers of garden plants in Canada. SUMMARY:

Seeking an individual who is organized, has strong computer skills (Excel/SAP and asset), energetic and attention to detail oriented. Our ideal team member enjoys a fast paced environment and keen interest in working together to ensure the smooth and successful receiving of our products.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

During peak/high season, daily responsibilities include:

· Point of contact for all incoming material ($3M+ value at Spring and Fall)

· Complete and file Receiving and Discrepancy reports

· Maintain close communication with National Purchasing team

· Booking receiving appointments

· Coordinating activities and labour with our dispatch team and shipping department

· Position does require some physical labour.

· Helping in other areas when required

*Hours:

Must be flexible and willing to work 10 hours per day during peak season (April – May and Oct – Nov)

Off peak hours are typically 8 hours per day.

REQUIREMENTS

· Proficient computer skills (Excel is a must; SAP is an asset)

· Excellent organization and time management skills are an asset.

· Candidate must possess strong decision making and resolution skills.

· Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) – dealing with outside carriers as well as National Team members and peers/colleagues daily

· Forklift License is an asset. Training available on site if needed
