My name is Heather Andrew, and I am the Owner of the Aspen Wellness Centre in Edmonton. We just opened our brand new office location in South East Edmonton. To date, our centre has been focused on providing mental health therapy to our well established clientele. Our mission is to provide trauma informed care to our clients, based in empathy and compassion. We believe that true healing involves the body, mind and spirit, and it has been my dream to be able to offer holistic healing services to our clients all in one place!

The Aspen Wellness Centre is conveniently and centrally located in South East Edmonton just off the Whitemud, near Gateway Blvd. This location provides prime access to clients in Edmonton and Sherwood Park. We have a well-established client base of mental health therapy clients, who are excellent candidates for massage therapy as well. At this time, we are hiring a Registered Massage Therapists to provide wellness services including massage, reflexology, reiki, cupping, etc. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional client care, and believe in a holistic approach to healing and wellness.

Who we are looking for? We are looking for an experienced female Registered Massage Therapist who is passionate about their profession and cares deeply about the wellbeing of their clients. We already have a male RMT on our team, and are seeking a female RMT to accommodate certain clients who prefer to work with a female. The ideal candidate will believe in a holistic approach to wellness, and be open and receptive to learning about how to provide trauma informed care in every aspect of their service delivery. The ideal candidate will also be motivated to work with the Aspen Wellness Centre to develop and grow their clientele.

What do you bring to the table?

• Must be a member in good standing with a provincial regulatory body
• Must provide proof of Professional Liability Insurance (Massage Malpractice Insurance)
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
• Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector police background check
• Have a strong desire to be part of an inter-disciplinary team
• Have a passion for a holistic approach to wellness
• Interest and willingness to provide trauma informed services
• Experience providing various treatments such as:
• Relaxation massage
• Deep tissue massage
• Hot/cold stone massage
• Swedish massage
• Craniosacral massage
• Reflexology
• Reiki
• Cupping
