POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are currently looking for a resident ''Handyman'', for the city of Loretteville, Quebec, full time and on call for emergencies. Are you said to be a versatile person, agile with your hands with a keen sense of organization? You are the person we need! A member of the maintenance service team, the handyman has the main function of overseeing the general maintenance of the building.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Able to lay floating floor
- All other related tasks
- Knowledge of plumbing and electricity
Construction
- Actively participate in various company committees - Know and apply company policies and procedures
- Clear and salt the entrances
- Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior
- Make service calls
- Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)
- Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
- Preventive maintenance on equipment
- Remove snow and ice on sidewalks
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- A DEP in general builing maintenance (as asset)
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience
- Customer service experience an asset
- Has tools
