THE COMPANY

Paul Davis is a leading emergency restoration contractor. We help commercial and residential property owners and managers recover from property losses such as fires and floods. We help get businesses back up and running and home owners back into their homes as soon as possible.

POSITION

• Demolition: Load, unload and transport construction equipment. Demolish buildings. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• Cleaning: Clean and sanitize contents (furniture, carpet, objects) and structure (walls, floor etc.).
• Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, and Manual dexterity required.
• Work Site Environment: Outdoors, at heights, Confined spaces, Dusty.

DESIRED SKILLS AND TRAITS

• Completion of high school.
• Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License.
• English.
• Must have own vehicle to go to Paul Davis office in Essex. Vehicles to go to job sites is provided by the Company.
• Able to handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• A track record of honesty and integrity. Must be bondable and have a clean driving record (abstract).
• Previous experience in providing Home Services; Carpentry and Restoration would be an asset.
• Ability to operate Reciprocating saws, Circular saws, Air compressors, Drills, vacuums, Drying equipment would be an asset.
• Available to work after hours, on call rotation
• Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory, Finding information, Computer use, Continuous learning.
