Key Holder/Retail Customer Service Representative
Established in 1988, Science & Nature Co® specializes in selling specialty toys, arts and crafts, games and other educational and novelty gift materials relating to the theme of science and nature, for both children and adults.

We are currently looking for full-time, part-time, as well as temporary seasonal employees, for our new Tsawwassen and Langley locations. Some customer service and/or retail experience a must. Visual merchandising experience an asset. Because we pride ourselves in great customer service, we have some of the best and most loyal customers around.

  • A person with experience in visual merchandising and maintaining high store standards
  • A professional and clean appearance

Applicant Responsibilities

  • Greeting customers, responding to questions on the phone, in person and on-line
  • Operating sales transactions and receiving inventory in a complex POS system
  • Managing financial transactions including returns of merchandise and balancing drawers
  • Informing customers about discounts and special offers/promotions and cross-selling complementary products/services
  • Helping customer needs, presenting answer questions about products and services and recommending solutions.
  • Improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service
  • Helping to maintain Company's digital and social media presence online
  • Ensuring all store operations are completed effectively and efficiently, including opening and closing procedures
  • Ensuring store is visually beautiful, clean and well-stocked
  • Staying up-to-date with new products/services
  • Providing feedback to Management to improve the operation and profitability of the Company
  • Creating awesome immersive experiences for customers and representing our established brand with pride
  • Contributing to crushing team sales goals of the Company!

With time, a successful candidate may require to represent the Company in various for-profit and non-profit events. He/she also has an opportunity to lead a new team in a new store location in the coming year.
