We are looking for:

Corporate Store Supervisor

Permanent, Full-time (35 hours per week)

Must be able to work a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, days and evenings, Monday through Sunday.

Position Summary

A Store Supervisor assists in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage staff and ensure that Bulk Barn standards are upheld
• Coach and motivate staff to perform their duties to the best of their abilitiy
• Delegate tasks amongst employees
• Follow-up with employees to ensure the tasks are being executed correctly and in a timely manner
• Lead and assist workers in performing their day-to-day tasks
• Assist customers in a manner that exceeds customer expectations
• Restock store shelves
• Ensure the store is kept clean at all times
• Maintain a healthy and safe working environment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Handler and Food Safe Certification, an asset
• Standard First Aid Certificate, an asset
• 3 years’ experience working in a retail environment (Food Retail experience is an asset)
• 2 - 3 years’ experience working under pressure, multi-tasking and managing time
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• 2 - 3 years’ experience leading and supervising a team
• 2 - 3 year working experience in a professional environment handling confidential information
• 2-3 years’ experience servicing and resolving customer concerns
• Ability to exercise flexibility, initiative, good judgement and discretion
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
• Positive and customer service oriented
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more as required
