Job Requirements:

  • Authorized to work in Canada
  • Live in Canada
  • Level 3 SPRAT or IRATA Certification
  • 2 years of Supervision experience
  • Experience working with clients to ensure safe & quality delivery of services
  • Experience managing crews from 3-12 people
  • Experience writing rescue plans, completing hazard assessments, daily paperwork and daily progress reports
  • Comfortable using google drive and confidence with computer use
  • Experience with slope stabilization: Rock drilling, scaling, slope meshing an asset but is not required
  • Confined Space Rescue or entry certified is an asset but not required
  • OFA 1 & or 3 is an asset but not required
  • Valid drivers license
  • Site Ready BC Certification (can be completed as part of onboarding)

Duties and responsibilities

  • Follow all safety rules, procedures and regulations.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment, use all equipment appropriately.
  • Review on site documentation.
  • Attend all daily safety meetings, tool box meeting.
  • Relay all safety concerns, incident and accidents to Site Supervisor
  • Perform all duties as designated by Project Manager
  • Fulfil duties of the rope access supervisor as detailed in SPRAT Safe Practices for Rope Access Work.

Reporting Lines:

  • Employee reports to the Operations Manager.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: From $40.00 per hour
