The Project Scheduler/Project Controller will be responsible for Cost, Schedule and Progress management reporting to the Project Manager.
The role will be based in Fort McMurray. Camp and Charter Flights, from Edmonton or Calgary, to be provided.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Detailed schedule development and updating in Primavera P6
- Developing progress reports and percent-complete based on field progress
- Submitting change orders to the client
- Monitoring of project budget
- Create & maintain high level milestone schedule.
- Create & maintain execution readiness schedule.
- Maintain approved project baseline(s).
- Produce final “Close-out Report”.
- Comply with all Health and Safety requirements establish within the Safety Management System.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum technical diploma, college degree or higher
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 4 years hands on P6 experience
SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- In-depth knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates professional interpersonal communication and team work skills
- Excellent knowledge of safety requirements and industry guidelines.
- Willing and able to travel to Fort MacMurray, AB on a rotational basis
- Security clearance requirements
