SALES ASSOCIATE
The Friends of Yoho National Park is looking for a Sales Associate to join our gift shop team for the summer tourist season, in Field, BC. The position helps to raise funds for projects, educational items, and ongoing programs within the park.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail experience
- a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly, positive and professional demeanor
- Be reliable, self motivated, and able to work well on own and with others
- The ability to stand for long periods of time and lift boxes
- open to working evenings and weekends
Duties:
- All aspects of operating a gift shop- customer relations, product displays, restocking, inventory control, and cash out reporting.
- Be knowledgeable of Friends of Yoho services and all products, offering referrals and assistance required
- Work in cooperation of Parks Canada staff
- Abide by staff policies and procedures
- Report directly to General Manager
Positions: 1-2 positions available
Starting late May, 2023
