sites in York Region - Downtown Markham.

Job duties as a Security Guard:
- Be visible to the public as they enter the premises
- Strong interpersonal communication; good command of the English language
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, customers, contractors, and visitors of the client's property
- Perform routine property patrols and respond to fire alarms
- Detect, challenge, and displace unwanted people
- Promote safety and adhere to client-site emergency procedures
- On-site first aid responder until expert medical help arrives
- Recording and maintaining log books of daily activities
- Follow up with daily documentation in your memo book; inputting notes and incident reports as required
Job Qualifications:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License in good standing
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be willing to travel to Markham; additional fare required to travel to York Region
- Must be able to walk, run, and stand for extended periods, in addition to climbing stairs
- Proven customer service experience of one (1) or more years (preferred)
- Friendly personality who enjoys interaction with people at a professional level
- Works effectively and handles multiple situations simultaneously while providing quality service
- Valid First Aid and Level "C" CPR certification
- Other industry-recognized certifications or experience is an asset
