Security Guard (Part Time) - Richmond, Burnaby Job at Spyron Limited
Our company is seeking a highly skilled Security Guard with great attention to detail to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter with the ability to complete tasks without supervision and a proven track record of strong security enforcement. The Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our facility by reporting all unusual occurrences or concerns to the head supervisor and monitoring security equipment in order to ensure that our workplace is secure at all times. Our Security Guard must also report instances of theft, vandalism, fire hazards or other potentially hazardous situations to the appropriate authorities.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor contacts with the public and report suspicious activities.
- Be alert to potential security threats and ensure building security.
- Be familiar with relevant state and federal laws, as well as regulations.
- Conduct vehicle searches, when necessary.
- Ensure that security systems and alarms are working properly.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 32 per week
Salary: $16.25-$18.50 per hour
