As a Senior Advisor – Technological Integration Services, you will guide the development of major IT projects and mandates that have a significant impact on the Bank’s profitability and efficiency and require high-level experience and expertise. You will act as a leader in your field of expertise and make recommendations on technology maintenance and upgrades for Integration Services.

Your role will be to influence and support the achievement of the Bank's strategic objectives by implementing technology strategies and solutions (as part of specific projects) that optimize the quality of services and operations and are aligned with product trends in the market.

Your main challenges:
  • Act as a leading expert in all aspects of the technical integration of Confluent Kafka components
  • Assist the IT application support and operations teams in diagnosing and resolving operational incidents related to the Confluent Kafka ecosystem
  • Recommend interventions and permanent corrective measures to support continuous improvement
  • Follow up on requests for changes, assess their impact on existing applications and issue recommendations
  • Maintain technical knowledge of Confluent Kafka, including internal and external integration points (with consumer/producer applications)
  • Support the architecture, design, and development teams with delivering solutions
  • Actively participate in the 12-month planning of maintenance and upgrading projects.
  • Periodically follow up on projects in progress.


  • A completed bachelor's degree in a related field plus 10 years of relevant experience or a completed master's degree in a related field plus 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience administering the Kafka platform and its peripheral components
  • Experience with Unix/Linux, OpenShift, WebSphere, DataPower and MQ technologies
  • Experience in DevOps: Jira, Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket, UrbanCode, Ansible, etc.
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps concepts
  • Excellent ability to communicate technical information in layman's terms and to understand complex technical concepts
  • Experience in writing technical documents
  • Leadership, initiative, and teamwork
  • Be on call on a 24/7 rotating shift
  • Bilingual, both spoken and written English and French as you will frequently serve clients who speak a language other than French
