Job Description

Working within the NTS – Network & Technology Services – Delivery Team, as a Senior Business Analyst– the successful candidate will be working on various projects across a number of work streams. These include Transformation initiatives, New Product/New Tool introductions, Mandatory/Regulatory, as well as Non-Standard/Complex Customer Driven solutions. You will work with a broad cross section of Bell’s Business and IT delivery teams to ensure a successful implementation. “Big Picture” thinking will be essential to ensure alignment with the NTS roadmap and IT programs. Exposure to innovative technologies and the challenge of integrating them into Bell’s Network and service offerings.


NTS is looking for a bright, focused individual who is a self-starter – and possesses strong business analysis skills. You will drive change while working in an exciting, fast-paced environment – looking at complex solutions, ensuring the most efficient solution is developed and put in place. You will provide support, as required, to key members of the project/product development teams in a matrix-reporting environment.


This role also functions as an interface with our Bell Business Markets (BBM) teams as well as IT PO/experts working on project design and deployment with overall responsibilities and an opportunity to lead in the definition of solutions, creation of requirements, roadmaps, sequences, and overall end-to-end delivery. This role will allow you to take a leadership role, and demonstrate your commitment to deliver on improved service and the customer experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Represent the Network and Technology Services teams on system improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with colleagues and other business stakeholders to deliver various projects.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to define technically appropriate solutions that meet users' requirements.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, assist with grooming and prioritization of User Stories, as well as system features
  • Develop high-level documentation of the interaction between systems, ensuring no gaps exist on the end-to-end flow.
* Support users to Lead, plan, organize and implement the design and delivery of projects * * * Motivate the project team for discussions
  • Understand non-functional system requirements and how they are reflected within the project deliverables.
  • Support users (BBM. IT POs, Test Teams) through project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with and report to various management levels

Critical Qualifications

Analytical and technical skills, such as Conceptual thinking and creative problem solving.

  • Professional work ethic: Self-starter, Proven interpersonal Skills, Strong organizational abilities
  • Agile Practice Enablement leveraging the Bell Agile Framework (based on SAFe) – and associated toolsets (JIRA, etc).
  • Proven high performer with a minimum 5+ years of related experience as a Technical Business Analyst
  • Good understanding of current business processes and the ability to document ‘current state’ & ‘future state’ business processes.
  • Flexible and solutions-oriented with the ability to adapt to a complex, constantly evolving work environment.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to take initiative with minimal guidance and be comfortable working both as an individual and as part of a team.
  • Proven leadership capabilities and a strong commitment to personal development.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Advanced MS Visio skills with strong ability to draw processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Business or Technical Disciplines preferred)
  • Equivalent Business Experience


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous telecommunications background
